Conservation Awareness Poster Contest

Door County will be participating in the Wisconsin Land and Water Association Conservation Awareness Poster competition for the first time in 2023. This contest is open to all Door County public, private, and home-schooled students in grades K-12. There are five different grade divisions; K-1, 2-3, 4-6, 7-9, and 10-12. Judging for the contest will take place at local, area, state, and national levels. The theme for this year’s contest is:

“One Water”

Winners in each age group will receive passes to the Door County maritime Museum. All Participants will receive single scoop custard tokens for Culver’s. 

Posters are due to the Door County Soil and Water Department by January 6th, 2023. Each poster must include the 2023 theme and must have a completed entry form with a signature from a parent or guardian. Poster size needs to be 12” X 18 “or 14” X 22”. Posters and registration forms can be dropped off at the SWCD office in Door County Government Center.
